Liverpool Chamber and Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services are launching a brand new series of events focussed on bringing businesses and charities together.

This new lunchtime event will benefit representatives from the Charity sector, potential donors and philanthropists within the business community and for businesses seeking to involve themselves in the charity sector.

The third sector is a massive contributor to the local and national economy and the benefits to both business and charities working together in mutual cooperation is huge. This event will inform, educate and inspire guests while The Athenaeum provides a fabulous venue for this inaugural event with a long history of philanthropic activity in the city.

Delegates will be invited to attend one of two pre-lunch seminars, one from Alan Lewis, Chief Executive of LCVS, and the other from Institute of Marketing guru Davide De Maestri. Our keynote speaker after an excellent lunch is Jim Davies, Senior Partner at DWF Solicitors who will be discussing his work as a philanthropist, how local charities can better engage philanthropists and as a business what the benefits have been.

The itinerary for the lunch is

11.30am Arrival
11.50am A choice between two seminars to attend (Alan Lewis of LCVS or Davide De Maestri)
12.20pm Networking
12.30-1.30pm Lunch
1.30-2.30 Keynote address by Jim Davies, DWF

Places are extremely limited so early booking is recommended. We look forward to seeing you there.
