This seminar provides an introduction to the world of export procedures and documentation and is designed for any person in the organisation who has to deal with export procedures and the paperwork associated with it. It is ideal for those in administration, sales, despatch, logistics, purchasing, finance and managers of companies exporting for the first time.
Experienced export clerks often attend this course as a refresher, to learn if regulations have changed.
For in-house courses the content is customised to meet the needs of the company and is used as an ideal opportunity for employees and directors to understand the exporting and importing process and the activities of different departments.

Presenter: Robin Mackay LTI, FInstSMM, MIEx.
Robin is an experienced Director and Senior Manager with over 15 years experience working for a world class textile company with particular responsibility for exports.
Business experience has included the successful technology transfer of innovative engineering patents and software from the academic sector to commercial implementation. Robin spent five years as Director of International Trade for the North East Chamber of Commerce and developed a range of products and services to meet the needs of large and small companies.
He has considerable experience in assisting organisations of all sizes develop markets and overcome the issues associated with export procedures and documentation; he brings to his course a wealth of practical solutions.
